How To Set Goals to Ensure Success

Tired of setting goals and never seeming to be able to reach them?
I've been there.
Most likely, the problem is you are setting goals that are
too big and
seem so far away from becoming a reality.
If you want to lose 100 pounds, that's great, but you shouldn't make
that your one and only goal.
On average, people lose about 2-3 pounds a week, that 100 pounds
will seem like it will never come!

There is a simple way to master goal making.

Start with your big goal and shatter it into a bunch of little
goals.

Make daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, and yearly goals.
This all leads up to your
big goal.

Setting goals this way keeps you in the "one day at a time" mind set,
and you don't get hopeless or overwhelmed.

Here is an example:

Big goal: lose 100 pounds!

Daily goals: Eat all healthy foods, workout, and drink plenty of water
Weekly goals: Try a new healthy food, lose 3 pounds
Monthly goal: Lose 12 pounds, try a different exercise
Yearly goal: Lose 100 pounds, tone muscles, help others learn
about weight loss

The goals you set do not need to be all about weight. Get creative.
Set any goal using this method.

By setting daily goals, you are more likey to reach weekly goals.
Reaching weekly goals will ensure you meet monthly, and then
yearly goals. See the pattern here?

Do not fret if you don't meet a goal. Simply keep at it!
Make your goals reachable, realistic, and they
will become a reality!
